LOCATION / OPENING HOURS
Our facility is located at 770 Downs Road, Eyrewell Forest, North Canterbury.  The facility is also our private residence, so is closed unless an appointment is booked in and confirmed.

SET UP

Your horse’s safety during its stay at our facility is of the upmost importance to us and we have created a purpose-built facility with safety first in mind.  We live on site so are able to keep a close eye on your horse during any stay with us.  We have a steel roundpen with two attached yards and a fully-fenced 60x20m arena with attached yard.  All paddocks are fenced with Gallagher Equifence (as well as a small amount of post and rail).  This creates a safe facility and ensures the risk of your horse being injured during its stay with us is kept to an absolute minimum and they are kept as safe as possible.

All seven paddocks are generously sized and have plenty of space for your horse to be able to lie down and relax as well as stretch their legs at walk, trot and canter if desired.  The paddocks all have automatic-filling water troughs and are mucked out at least every second day.  Horses are fed out plentiful hay twice a day (in the morning and evening).  Your horse will have its own paddock for the duration of its stay and will have other horses close by for company.
