CLINIC TYPES
In addition to lessons (which are one-on-one), we also offer educational group clinics which are suitable for everyone, regardless of their chosen equine discipline.  The different clinic types are as follows:

GROUNDWORK CLINICS

Groundwork clinics focus solely on groundwork, and the groundwork covered all directly relates to ridden work.  This helps set things up for young horses that are yet to be started undersaddle but also breaks things down and makes things easier to understand for the ridden horse.  If time allows, we will also put the skills you've learnt into practice with some basic obstacles which are also great for building confidence and fun.  Suitable for young/unstarted horses as well as older/started horses to improve ground skills/manners.

 

RIDDEN CLINICS

Ridden Clinics are suitable for all riders and horse that are started undersaddle.  They are generally a full day and will begin with groundwork before moving on to ridden work.  The format is flexible, with content guided by the horses and riders attending, any challenges that arise on the day, and specific areas individuals would like to develop. Riders who want to get safe or rebuild confidence can focus on establishing solid basics, while those with a stronger foundation can progress to more advanced work. Each horse/rider combination is tasked and challenged at an appropriate level throughout the Clinic. We pride ourselves on creating a safe and supportive learning environment where you can progress at your own pace, while encouraging you to gently step outside your comfort zone when needed, to help you achieve your goals and boost your confidence.These Ridden Clinics also provide an excellent opportunity to introduce a young or green horse to being ridden in a group.

RIDDEN CLINICS - SPLIT 

During the busier Spring/Summer months we will often split the Ridden Clinics (see above explanation) into two separate groups - Introductory and Development.  The Introductory group is ideal for those who are newer to riding, are nervous/have lost confidence, or getting back in the saddle after some time away, or have green horses that haven't been exposed to being ridden in a group very much or at all.  The Development group is ideal for riders who are confident to walk, trot and canter and are wanting to advance their skills with more refinement and finesse.

​SPECTATORS / SUPPORT PEOPLE

Spectators/support people are most welcome on all Clinics.  They are required to book and pay the applicable spectator fee (via the Bookings page) PRIOR TO arrival.  ​​
