CLINICS
In addition to lessons, we also offer educational group clinics of up to two days in duration which are suitable for everyone, regardless of their chosen equine discipline. The different clinic types are as follows:
RIDDEN CLINICS
Ridden clinics start with groundwork before moving on to ridden work. There is no set format as what is covered depends on the individuals/horses participating and what issues arise during the Clinic as well as any particulars individuals would like to work on/improve. Those who want to get safe or who have lost confidence can work on the basics and rebuilding confidence and those that have the basics working well can take things to a more advanced stage. Small groups mean everyone can be tasked and challenged accordingly. They are also a great way to introduce young/green horses to being ridden in a group in a controlled environment. Suitable for all riders and all horses that are started undersaddle – no matter what age/stage in their education.
GROUNDWORK CLINICS
Groundwork clinics focus solely on groundwork and the groundwork covered all directly relates to ridden work. This helps set things up for young horses that are yet to be started undersaddle but also breaks things down and makes things easier to understand for the ridden horse. If time allows, we will also put the skills you've learnt into practice with some basic obstacles which are also great for building confidence and fun. Suitable for young/unstarted horses as well as older/started horses to improve ground skills/manners.
